Amadou Sall Receives Prestigious Award during MLK Celebration
Each year, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Commission, recognizes individuals based on their mission and legacy of King. This year Amadou Sall was selected by the commission as the 2023 MLK Education Award recipient. The MLK Commission has been organizing the Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration in the Knoxville area since 1982. The special celebration and commemoration of the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is a weeklong event. Congratulations on this prestigious award, and we applaud you again for your 20-year service anniversary here at the University of Tennessee.
